Impact terminals are used to soften the shocks that occur in a collision between the vehicle and the obstacle (end of the collision, Viadukti pillar, natural and other obstacles).
The impact terminal and subsequent collision limits shall be connected in such a way that their respective functional characteristics (e.g. passive safety of the impact terminal, transfer of load) do not have a mutually negative effect. The impact of the shock terminal and the boundary shall be connected to the manufacturer's recommendations. The shape of the bounteners must be compatible with local circumstances.
